RESIDENTIAL
MONTERREY, MEXICO
Esfera City Center, a residential complex of 137,000 sqm, sits on the valley of mountains in Monterrey, Mexico. The original brief of 12 residential towers of nearly 1,000 flats met a radical change as the office proposed a community-oriented design composed of low-rise residential buildings that contains various pockets of communal areas and a park in the centre of the site. The two key design elements of the building are the wavy design of the overall massing and the balconies that extrude out dynamically to enhance the intent of the massing design.
