Situated in the west of Mexico city, Santa Fe road, where the project is located, is one of the city’s major business districts. This busy district consists of numerous high rise buildings surrounding a large shopping mall. ZHA was commissioned to design a residential tower on an existing commercial podium that is shared by other two residential towers. The challenge was to meet the required mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom, and penthouses, and its solution came from breaking the floor plate into blocks of different unit sizes and and stacking them up to the heights that will lead the total mix to meet the requirement.
